How different is the crossover from a L65 to a L300?

I have an extra pair of L65's and was thinking of replacing the LE5 with a 2420 horn, the eff. is much different.

    Questions:

    1. Has anyone ever done this?
    2. Are the crossover points close?
    3. Is there enough adjustment in the pot to bring the highter eff. horn into sink with the other drivers?

I should mention the L65's are in bad shape with great drivers, they would be in my workshop so beauty in not an issue.

Well why not it's just one more pair...
4340's and 250ti's what an odd pair...

Take a look at the schematic they are available down below. You would have to pad the horn and 077 down to match the woofer.
