    Color-coded Monster cable

This message is for Giskard. or anyone else who can help. Giskard, you mentioned in another thread that you had some color-coded Monster Cable which you used to re-wire old JBL systems.
    A. I have a pair of L200's with dealer installed 077"s that I have been considering re-wiring.
    B. Do you think this is worthwhile?
    C. Would your cable be the one to use?
    D. Would you sell me a sufficient amount to do the job.
    Thanks.

    Re: Color-coded Monster cable

"B. Do you think this is worthwhile?"

Yes I do. Especially if one rearranges their networks to circumvent running wire from the "can"/"board" to the L-pads, back to the "can"/"board" and then to the transducers.

"C. Would your cable be the one to use?"

Not necessarily, there's other stuff out now that works as good or better. I still use it because it's long ago bought and paid for.

"D. Would you sell me a sufficient amount to do the job."

Only if you have to have it. I still have Green (LF), White (MF), Yellow (HF), and Black. I'm out of Orange (UHF) and Red.

You will want to install poly bypass capacitors at the same time I would imagine.

Giskard-Thanks for your quick response. What other brands would you recommend, and what gauge.
