    115H-1 woofers for L15 speakers

    Hello

I have a pair of L15 bookshelf speakers. The foam surrsounds of the woofers (115H) crumble away and need to be reconed. I like those speakers very much, but I am tired of having them reconed ones and so often. To avoid frequent reconing, would it be possible to use the 115H-1 woofers of the L20t speakers, which got a sort of rubber surround.
Would the 115H-1 woofers be compatible with the L15 spearkers in regard to screw holes?
Will the sound of the L15 be negatively influenced since the 115H-1 woofers do not go along with the L15 crossover?
Thank you in advance for your valued advice.

    Regards

    lobos

I think the answer is "probably, yes". But you don't need a re-cone, just new surrounds. You might also consider just picking up a pair of L20t or 4406.
