    Can I substitue a 104H-3 for an LE5-12 midrange

Just wondering if I can throw a 104H-3 into a 4312 without penalty.

I know the LE5-8 can substitute for an LE%-12, but how about a 104H-3?

BTW I go back to when mids were called "squawkers" and that's a long time ago.

    Thanks for any input.

The 104H has different electrical and acoustic qualities, so generally it would be recommended to alter the XO to accommodate the different driver.

You can use LE5-8, 10, or 12, any of which are readily available on eBay.
