Is L80t3 crossover a true drop-in replacement for the L80T?

I've heard of people putting L80t3 crossovers into L80T speakers, saying thet t3 xover was a better design and it improves them. Are they true drop-in replacements, without any modification? If I remember correctly, the t3 has the same woofs and mids but it has the 035tiA tweeter as opposed to the 035ti in the L80t. Does this differencec cause any problems in using the t3 Xover in a T speaker?

Also, what about the 4410? Is its crossover the exact same as the L80t3? I don't think the 4410A would match since it used the 052ti.

Yes they are, the 4410 make sure you get the original with the Lpads. Always nicer to be able to adjust the driver levels a bit.

I seem to recall on one I had to swap woofer wiring as one pair had a NOS woofer replacement and the other was a factory re-cone hence one had push-in terminals and the other Faston. I opted to simply desolder the lead from the old crossover and solder it to the new one to match the Faston connection.

    Just watch your woofer polarity.
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers
