JBL MR838 hookup question...

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I have a pair of JBL Pro MR838's that have two 1/4 inch jacks on the back. One is labled "input" the other says Ext Out. I assume that coming out of an amp (I have a QSC MX1500) that I would plug into the "input" jack.

So what is the "Ext Out" jack for? Would this be for daisy chaining to another speaker?
