    Happy Tenth Anniversary, Lansing Heritage!

The Lansing Heritage web site went live on May 25, 2000, after several months in development. When Don McRitchie, Steve Lewis and myself decided to fund and build the site, we could have never guessed how large the site would become, nor how many visitors and members it would serve.

Most of the credit goes to Don McRitchie, who has been the webmaster since the beginning and has probably spent thousands of hours building and maintaining the site. Many thanks also to John Nebel who has hosted this site on his servers without charge since 2003. My involvement in the site and the people here has been a real gas, and I hope to be able to increase my involvement in the years to come. Cheers, y'all!

    WOW 10 years!

It is hard to believe I have been chatting here almost as long. I remember when I first found this forum, in the original message board format, thought I found a little niche just for me! I always knew, that I would be here for a while, and I guess I have!

THANKS Don, Steve, Steve Lewis, and John!

-I've found this site so helpful over the last few years (helped me spend money-more JBL!) It's given me hours of entertainment. I may be gone for a while, but I always come back for more!

I’m glad that a site was developed for the JBL/Altec enthusiast this place has kinder been home (that sounds corny but its true).

The site is invaluable with everything that JBL or Altec.

Hats off to the moderating team that sometimes have to put a leash on me. (down boy, boy down). No they are wonderful at keeping things in order with fierce conviction.

Happy 10th LHF and many more

    Happy birthday!

I don't remember how I first came upon this place, but now I have 3 pairs of 4430s keeping me company in a 5.1 arrangement. Even though I don't come from a technical background I have always enjoyed reading about the technical side of audio and this side more than satisfies that need - sometimes I find myself reading on here instead of listening or watching movies..
