I really love my L220 but they are to big for my room and now I found a pair of JBL 4333A that need a refoam kit and also the lens are missing. The 4333A found it at a guy that does not know what fortune he poses so he wants for them 200 bucs
Today I will pick them up them up. It's also a good business I saw they are sold for 2000$ or more so I have nothing to lose.
Thank you very much I will buy , fix and try 4333A
Well, if the 4333A's cost $200, then the 4425s ought to be around $75!
If that's the case, why not have all three? Your first post did say you had to make the choice...
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

I'm sure you will love the 4333's after you've restored them. However, if you think the L220's were too big for your room, you may think they look a little petite compared to the 4333's, which take up about 50% more floor space. Of course, I may have misunderstood your comment and your room really has 47" high ceilings, in which case I would definitely prefer the 4333's.
Well I took your advice and bought both models. I paid for 4425 - 400$ but they need a recone kit and for the 4333A-200$ but they need lens and grills and also recone kit.
Can wait to repair and listen to them Who can help me to find lens for the 4333A ?
Thanks a lot guys I really appreciate it
I found on the Ebay 2420 and 2425 replacement diaphragm kit for my new 4333A.
If the speaker horn and tweeter are sounding like small scratching noises , do you think that this is the cause? Should I replace the diaphragm or is the crossover to blame?
Thanks a lot.
Bye
