That's the question.
I want to know if all 2226 frames are identical, so the a factory kits of differing impedance works the same, regardless of how the frame magnet was originally labelled and built.
Even if the top plates are the same thickness, I wonder if the magnetic gap varies in width to accommodate the different impedance voice coils.
I have some 2226 frames I want to recone with different impedance kits than they were originally. I'm thinking about the old original D130,D130/D130F among others and want to be sure of myself.
