1500hz or 3500hz which crossover is better?

Hello Everyone!
Yes, I am a newbie so I apologize in advance for any mistakes I have already made so far.

Can anyone please explain to me what the difference between a 1500Hz passive crossover and a 3500hz passive crossover would be?

I am looking for the right crossover to finish my first DIY project consisiting of (get ready to laugh) two 8 ohm 15" subs and a 14x7 tweeter horn. (The subs are APLHA SOUND (based out of San Jose) and the tweeter compression driver is by Eminence)

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I thank everyone for their patience and understanding. Thanks guys!

2000Hz?

If the tweeter can handle it (play that low without burning up at loud levels), 1500Hz sounds like a better choice, given the two. There's a -lot- more to it
than that, but there you go.

That Eminence driver/horn combo would need around a 1,000 Hz crossover, so the 1,500 Hz crossover would be the best choice of the 2 crossovers.
