    rebuilding a pair of Valencia's

    Hi!
I just joined this forum and I have a pair of Altec Lansing Valencia's. They were working but now they are not. I think they fried my amp. So, I need to know 1) can one get parts for these speakers, 2) where do I buy them, especially the crossovers. I am not sure of the condition of the drivers either. Thanks for the help.

Dang - generally, its a bad amp that cooks the speakers ... especially if the speakers don't work no mo ... the Altec business is now handled by Great Plains Audio - see http://www.greatplainsaudio.com/
(but the Altec folks here say its best to give them a phone call to be sure of what is current)

PS - the Altec User forum is here:
