    4411s have which components?

4411s have which components? The 044 tweets I recognize the mid and woofer I cannot find specific model #s. Do they have a different xover than L112's? thanks

Yes, totally different networks. Same LF, same HF, different MF. Edgewound LE5-9/LE5-11 versus round wire LE5-10/LE5-12. Greg did the L112 while David did the 4411 (for the longest time I thought Mark did the 4411, it was Mark who first auditioned them to me).

    Interesting point to know! Thanks.

I've enjoyed my L112s for nearly thirty years. Always wanted a pair of 4411s, too, just to round-out the family. They were obviously built for different purposes or they'd never have had different designers. Was Greg tasked with simply putting the L112 together at a lower cost, or was there a different goal for each?
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

Different goals. Greg was working on the L Series of that time for Consumer and David was working on the 44xx Studio Monitors for Pro.
