L80T low and mid driver gasket!

    Hi guys,

I did some more playing with my new-to-me L80T's and found that the woofer and mid range drivers don't have the traditional paper gasket behind them, in fact have no gaskets at all.

Does any one know if there should be gaskets behind the drivers?

    Regards, Jay

P.S. I found while doing the penlight 'battery test' that the woofer is wired to 'inhale' out of phase with the other drivers, but some fast checking of the archives shows this to be normal. Man, the archives are useful!

P.P.S. Thanks to andresohc and Gordon W. for your ideas in the prior thread!

Haven't had the mids out of a pair in a long time... but yes, I can say that they ARE supposed to have the thin paper gasket behind the woofer.

    Regards,
    Gordon.
