You will have to precise your question (budget, exact application, etc...)

    What horns do you have?

You'll find a lot of information here to build a system. A two way can melt faces.. You'll need some serious woofage for outdoor use though. Better to spend money on that than adding tweeters, which would be nice..

I can almost see the remnants of the melted faces in the puddle on the ground. Good thing it's in Alaska where the cooler temperatures help prevent face deformation..

I think some of the components of that system predate microwave ovens and are far more effective, especially at range.. Could you imagine what it would do to butter or cream cheese? Maybe even pop popcorn...

JBL missed an opportunity to patent a process...

This project was a labor of love. Lisa and I spent a wad of cash to make this rig happen. Remember that there is a bunch of Crown Macrotech amps to push it.

I received some 2445 drivers and 2380, and 2385, horns and had to figure out what we were going to do with them. The 4733 and 4719 clones were the culmination.

    If you choose to:
The horns and drivers that you have can be turned into a "bad ass, melt your face" kind of rig, provided that you make it happen.

Its really kind of too bad that my rig gets mainly used for the Friday night drag show and Tuesday/Thurs/Sat karaoke, because if I had my d'ruthers, It would be out in the big barn all hooked up. Then I could just open the giant bay doors like an airplane hangor, and play music to the ether out on our farm and encourage the corn to grow.

    Oh well.

    Scotty.
