just picked up a pair of c34 w/030 but one of the 130's is dead....
everything else works..cabs are rough cosmetically but they were $50pair
will a D140(8 ohm) damage the crossover?...I can't image these in a living
    room....thanks

If it is a 16 ohms crossover the D140F 8 ohm will not damage the crossover, but the lower impedance will affect the crossover frequency sightly, but no permanent damage will occur. You can use the D140F while you are getting the D130 reconed.
