The 1602 is similar to the JBL 2235, which have been crossed over ~1K in the 4430.

On this forum you will find info about the 2235, but not the TL1602.

If you have them, go for it. 800Hz can not be a disaster. If you don't already have them, you can't go wrong with the TL1601/1603 up to ~900Hz.

The 1602 never has been a common woofer, and it has been out of production for a few years, with no recone kits availabe, so there are not a lot of people who have experience implementing it. I believe it was primarily used in studio monitors in pairs and those speakers are often installed with EQ. The only specific recommendation I am aware of for this woofer by a knowledgable person is offered by Wayne Parham of Pi speakers, who recommends, for a maximally flat response, a cabinet in the 3.5-4 cu ft range tuned for just under 40 Hz. I have a feeling this is not what you are after.

As a practical matter, personally, if you are planning on using the 8 cu ft box in a fairly small room, I would try it sealed at first, just to see what happens. Unless you can get some expertise involved, the sealed box may be the best. In fact, Dr. Bruce Edgar thinks those woofers work best in sealed enclosures.

As for the rest of the system--what are you planning for a crossover? I hope you realized that when you gather a group of components more or less at random and try to make them into a speaker system you must build a custom crossover, and that is no trivial task.

I don't think you should use both the 2" and 1" driver together in the system.
As you have a 077 tweeter you can use either one with good result:

    option 1:
1602+2420/2312+077 would be similar to a L300 (schematics are available)
That horn is made to be crossed over at 800Hz, that should not be a problem

    option 2:
1602+2445/2380+077 would also be an interesting system :

Yes, I am more like the voice of 2420,But some guys think that 1602 can only be used 450HZ, That is why I try to use 2445J, I will not be used simultaneously 2 driver together.
I was in reference to jbl 3133 crossover , 800HZ and 8500HZ. it is for L300.
    thank you!

It's no such necessary using both 2445 and 2420 together at all!
Pls pay more attention at 43 series, then you can learn a lot from them.

That's the combination I have currently in my modified L200 system. A 3133 crossover, 2234 Woofer, 2445j Mid with the walnut smith horn, and the 2405 slot on top. The 2420s are no longer connected when i hooked up the 2445J instead.
