I believe the 416 8a is a rear mount only frame and the Model 19 box calls for a front mounted woofer such as the 416-8c. Sonicaly, there would not be any difference if you built a Model 19 box to factory spec and mounted the 416-8a in the back of the baffle....but it would not exactly match a factory Model 19.
I thought the Model 19s used the smaller 811 and not the bigger 511 horns. I think most Model 19s used an 802 or 902 HF compression driver.

BMS 4550 will work very nicely on the 511 horns with the Model 19 crossover.
Since they have higher sensitivity than the Altec drivers, you'll have to add an L-pad (variable or fixed) ahead of them to bring the crossover controls into the "Optimum" adjustment range....
My lokal supplyer of board have "fake" walnut and oak 18mm at nice price.
The 511B is what i have got.
I will try the 808 8a first and if hf is missing i go for BMS.
In the plans i´v got i dont see port detail,is it just "a hole in the baffel"?
Yes, the port is simply a cutout in the front baffle.....here's a set of plans.
