    Stanley Screamers 1020

    Has anyone heard these boxes?

    A local cinema had these apparently behind the screen and they were something else.

    Interesting to see a dual 15" box play down to 20hz.

    Exclamation Stanal Sound

    I picked up a pair of SS1020R road warriors about a year ago which are similar to the Altec 817. Stanal Sound was used by Neil Diamond. Pink Floyd and others who where interested in quality sound on tour. They used quite an array of duplex & standard drivers to obtain the well crafted wide spectrum sound they were known for...

    I recall hearing something about the subwoofers that the boxes were tuned in a way that the drivers were almost at their xmax limit or something to that fact and that's what created the extra punch that these boxes have,


    I would love to get my hands on the non horn LF enclosure...
