    Hi,
I want some info on Altec Lansing car audio.I am not sure but I believe Altec manufactured car audio components during the 90's.I have been thinking of buying a passive crossover for the car.any help is greatly appreciated.

    Why?

The Altec Lansing company of the 90s is connected to the classic era of Altec Lansing (who went bankrupt and sold off their name to whoever was buying) in only the most tenuous ways - I believe the new stuff was basically from a company once named Sparkomatic.

Plus - car audio gear generally gets used hard in a tough environment and a 10-20 year old car system may be very well worn indeed.

Recommend you buy something more contemporary instead.

Find hardware to do what you need without forcing a brand name on it that way ...
