    4430 woofer repair

    Happy Holidays To All,

I have a pair of JBL 4430's I have had the pleasure to own for the past 15 years. The woofer surrounds have given up the fight and are in need of desperate repair. Are there any suggestions as to where/who I should have them repaired by? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I'm located in south east Michigan.

    Kindest Regards

    D Of Oxford

Same answer you got six-months ago still works:

Might help to let us know where you are, too.

    Here's his website:

This won't help if he's on vacation, but if you just can't make it work, put out a call for servicers in SE Michigan and maybe a fellow LH'er has a recommendation.

Don't know where exactly SE MI puts you but our member Feroce (Ed Stephens) was headed toward a good experience in having his 4343s repaired under warranty in that area but the entire saga met the moderation axe so the dealer involved is no where to be found in the archives here.

Might be on his website here: http://www.edstephens.com/jbl_speakers.htm
