    SAM1HF Clones

I have been working on these on and off since the summer. I finally have the cabinets built and a pair loaded for measurements for both AL and Be versions. The "Plan" is to use them as tops in a 1400 Array set-up. I hope to get my UBM "Universal Bass Modules" cut up and together this week. Can't wait to power them up and have a listen. That's going to have to wait though as I don't have the networks built up. As always half the fun is in the doing.

How does that remote work with that old drill? I've never seen such a fusion of old and new tech!

Oh yeah, the cabs look very good, too.
    Out.

I learned how to drill with that drill, he would give me a 1/4 drill bit and chuck of 2x4 to practice with.

I learned how to drill with that drill,
I have a couple of them. 2 from my father and a real beauty from my wifes grandfather. He was a ship builder and it's a work of art. The most versatile and biggest hand drill I have seen. I like to use them for pilot holes and counter sinks. More control than an electric if you don't own a drill press.

Is that a PS-200 and PS-400 I see in the rack?
Yes that's my 2 channel Bi amp rig. Will go with the PS-400 on the first power up.

    They look very nice!
Thanks and they sure are fun to build.

It's been too cold to cut any wood outside so I have the networks going instead. With any luck I will be able to power them up by the end of the week. I decided to just go for the Be driver load as they 2435Be looked good in the simulations. I really wanted to have the 1400 bass modules done but as long as the weather stays like this I am just going to have to wait. In the mean time I have a pair of 121A's I can use to see how they sound.

". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers
