For years I used this generator equalizing my monitor environment. Now it doesn't work any more. The device needs repair. Is there any one in the forum who can help me with a circuit diagram?

Hi udo,
a (KIS) suggestion :
1) sent a "sine-wave" trought your instalation,
2) capture with (good) micro-phone and VU-meter (mic-amp & DMM dB reading or VU-band-recorder)
3) it give you a (good) first idea about your environement setup (acoustical dB-reading)
a "minut" test set-up .... for a "apple & egg" ....
other set-up solutions via PC and monitor software (adobe cool-edit aurora and e.o.)
Salukes and greatings,
........best (safe) wishes for 2010 ......
Karel
One other would be free download software from Home Theatre Shack Room Equalizer Wizard (REW) has means of measuring the speakers frequency response ether with microphone or SPL db metre.
Register with the site and then download the program to your laptop or pc.

I use the software fairly often myself it has wide ranges of pink noise sine wave frequency sweeps or step by step sine wave tones frequency waterfalls even the kitchen sink!
Happy New Year
