So give your speakers a treat.
when I was in HS (1967) , The Ike & Tina Turner Review was the house band at a club down the road. Could have seen them 5 nights a week, if I'd been old enough to get in

Blue Mink, Our World, 1970, Philips England, 6308 024

In US released as "Real Mink". All players were world-class: (forgotten?) Madeline Bell great vocals!
Greenaway/Cook world famous songwriter team. Perfect powerful vocal harmonies. Superb London's Morgan Studios' session musicians.
Herbie Flowers, bass, takes a walk on the wild side once again (Tumbleweed Connection/Madman across the water/Diamond Dogs/Schmilsson/Transformer/War of the worlds......
Listen to A3 majestic soul track "World" sung by Roger Cook/Bell.

Gavin James, Flowing, 19XX ???, Ranke Germany, 81001

Poor information about this Irish guitar/vocal musician on the web. No info about Ranke Records Germany.
No info about year of recording. Note on back cover: Contact: Ranke Musik, Hauptstrasse 32, Beuren, Germany.
Perhaps Ariane knows? (Original signature dedicated to Ariane on back cover)
This is a beautiful album with electric and acoustic irish folk-rock. Anybody knows more about this one?

Michael Bloomfield, Bloomfield, 1983, CBS Holland, 2LP, 22164

A retrospective including unreleased material for example track D3 "Woodyard street", recorded in San Francisco 1973. A song inspired by Randy Newman.
Track D2 "Relaxin' Blues, Blues for Jimmy Yancey, Sunnyland Slim and Otis Spann" shows his (unknown) piano playing qualities.

    Derek & The Dominos, In Concert, 1973, RSO England, 2479 101, 2LP

Good dynamics. Live Fillmore East, 23/24. Oct. 1970, recorded by Eddie Kramer.
Listen to swinging boogie track C2 "Bottle of red wine". Let's open a bottle of red spanish wine now. Prost!
    A bluesrock classic.

Philip Catherine, Guitars, 1975, Atlantic France, 50 193

Charlie Mariano, sax. Jasper Van't Hof, piano. Recorded at Morgan Studios, Brussels.
A kaleidoscope of different guitar tunes, techniques and songs by Belgium's most gifted (? Django lived in France) guitar player. I remember a concert in Zurich in 1976 at University Mensa.
Listen to gypsy-jazz tune "Five thousand policemen" A2: a swinging piece of music with different funny changes of rhythm.

Dickey Betts Band, Pattern Disruptive, 1988, Epic US, FE 44289

Sticker on front cover: "The rocking return of former Allman Brother". This one really rocks. Warren Haynes, lead guitars. All perfect Gibson Les Paul sounds.
Superb dynamics. Listen to the clearly mixed powerful drums by Matt Abts! Perfect studio work.
    Enjoy!
