This album cover smells of a female perfume. Written inside the cover "EVA 5".
Eva? Do you mark your albums with perfume? Why do you?
But, hey Eva, it's a wonderful work by Joe Walsh, isn't it? And the perfume is adequate!!!
Great album! Love the drummer's (Joe Vitale) songwriting contributions -- "Giant Bohemoth" and "Mother Says"

What great dynamics on these 2 LPs! Netherland pressings.
Enjoy the crescendo of big orchestra in "Running scared" C1.

The Alan Parsons Project, Freudiana, 1990, EMI EU, 79 544151

Take a look at the beginnings of psychologic science: this is the most ambitious work of Eric Woolfson and Alan Parsons.
Hey, these 2 LP's are an interesting alternative to the Who's "Quadrophenia" and "Tommy".
There never was any better Alan Parsons Project than this one, because it's some kind of an ear movie you may enjoy. Many great voices, some beautiful melodies and big orchestra themes.
Hans was the youngest patient of Sigmund Freud: so listen to the Beatles-like "Little Hans" A4.
An anthem to the human condition.
    Forgotten/underrated.

    The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Anniversary Edition, 2017, Parlophone EU, 2LP, 574 5534

Notice on front cover sticker: "As you have never heard it before".....So:
Picture yourself kneeling on the carpet in front of a big old tube mono radio in 1967 listening to the first tunes of Sgt. Pepper's: It was a big surprise. And in fact there's still the similar amazement today with this one. Hey, you HAVE already heard this one 50 years ago in the same intensivity! By the way not in the same quality. But you didn't know then....
This here undeniably is a "must have" because of the exceptional mixing and the alternate takes showing the fun they had at Abbey Road Studio.
Deadwax inscription: "Miles Abbey Road 1/2 Speed".
The definitive perfect issue? Or is it getting better all the time?

Chris Farlowe, Paint It Black, 1968, HörZu Germany, SHZEL 97

HörZu was the label of a German TV journal in the early 70ies. They had great quality in pressing.
Many fantastic songs covered by John Henry Deighton with big orchestra in the style of Barry Ryan.
    Deighton who?
Hey, it's Chris Farlowe. His alias is a tribute to guitarist Tal Farlowe.
Listen to Timmon's/Hendricks' "Moanin'" B4. Who played the sitar? Anybody knows?
