Comedy-poetry-music group from Liverpool.
Mike McGear is the younger brother of Paul McCartney.
Funny. A little bit strange for Swiss listeners. "Lily the pink" track A6.

You lucky guys in America! A1 Lee Clayton song "Ladies love outlaws". True or not?
I love guitar/dobro/pedal steel playing by Jeff Baxter on this one and the Memphis Horns. Truly!

Them - s/t
(1976, Decca)
I have one Them record, hammered, so I was glad to grab this 2 LP compilation when it showed up. Nice sound quality for these tracks, Gloria jumps with prominent bass and good instrument separation. I'm reading Greil Marcus on Van right now.

every copy I've heard of this on vinyl is terrible SQ. This remaster is better, but not as good as many others. Was reading that this was their first album, plays almost like a GH's production.

the idea of the extra tracks was nice, but some are terrible sounding
Some kind of happiness is measured out in miles
Once again: what powerful fascinating voice. David Clayton-Thomas!!
Listen to B2 "He's a runner".
Listen to every track and remember the high times of rock music, when everything was possible.

A3 thrilling version of Hendrix' "Manic depression".
Underrated album.

A favorite ELP record. These rarely turn up in anything but hammered condition.

70ies style psychedelic rock from Switzerland. Powerful guitars and Hammond/Moog. So let those famous Leslie-speakers turn, turn, turn.....
Weak male vocals as mostly usual in Swiss rock music business. Too bad.
Superb recording and mixing at Gallus Studio, St.Gallen Switzerland.
