Jesse Colin Young, Love On The Wing, 1977, WB USA, BS 3033

Produced by Felix Pappalardi, a mountain of a bass player.
Listen to track A5: "Fool", where he sings "Fool, fool, oh you crazy fool, can't you feel your life slipping away".
Fine song. A mountain of a song.....

Gram Parsons, G.P. with Emmylou Harris, 1973, Reprise England, K 44228

A better Kinney pressing as usual.
James Burton guitar. This is one of the greatest guitar players.
Listen to the J. Geils Band song "Cry one more time" on track B4 from the 1971 album "The morning after".
G.P was an important influence for the Rolling Stones in the early 70ies.

Brian Auger & Trinity, Befour, 1970, RCA Germany, 25 137, Special Edition

This is wonderful music art. Simply great. A classic of jazzy progrock.
Gary Winston Boyle with interesting vocals on Traffic's song on track A3 "No time to live". Big hammond solo by BA.
And listen to Herbie Hancock's "Maiden voyage" on track A4.
The killer track is B1, "Listen here".
Perfect pressing and dynamics for an unknown Club Edition with different cover picture art. ExLibris Schweiz? Anybody knows?
Special club editions were always premium pressings. Catch them! Don't lose them....

No kidding. Aretha joins the Atlantic label, after Columbia didn't know what to do with her.

Unleashed Aretha with solid Rhythm and Blues backing. She puts everything into this record.

Adam Green, Aladdin, 2016, Rough Trade, UK?, 260160 560844

Concert this night at The Palace, St. Gallen, Switzerland. Adam Green likes the local "Schützengarten Bier".
LP with original signature, CD and poster based on the film "Aladdin".
Listen to track B4 "Phoning in the blues". Fine songs. Witty.
    Superb dynamics. Very good pressing.
Look at the interview in the "St. Galler Tagblatt" from 20. October, 2016: Adam Green also likes "Appenzeller Alpenbitter". Some kind of medicin and aperitiv-drug for the Appenzeller folks.

Hats off to Frankie Miller and to the liquid aloha from Kona Brewing Co., Hawaii!
Listen to "Good to see you", the Allan Taylor song track B5. Some kind of a hymn.
