Woody Herman, The Raven Speaks, 1972, Fonit-Cetra Italy, 1974, SFC 127

Fine Italian 1974 pressing. Wonderful versions of Hancock's "Watermelon man" and "Fat Mama" with great guitar by Pat Martino. Pat Martino uses "Wah Wah" pedals!!!!!
Gilbert O'Sullivan's "Alone again naturally": simply beautiful.
Carole King's "It's too late" makes everybody happy, especially in this version!

Grappelli & Burton, Paris Encounter, 1972, Atlantic France, 40 378

Fine moods for a warm august evening like this one today. August is the best month of the year in Switzerland IMHO. Tomorrow we'll have september. September is one of the best months of the year also. And this one is a very good pressing with powerful sound. Get it on with music of all kind......

Hans Theessink, Call Me, 1992, Minor Music Germany, MM1022

Calm powerful voice and many musicians friends.
Interesting mood is created because the bass guitar doesn't exist. The bass lines were played by Jon Sass with his tuba.

The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Framed, 1972, Vertigo Germany, 6360 081

3 songs sung with a stuttering voice: "My Generation" by The Who, "Ain't seen nothing yet" by BTO and "Framed" by Alex Harvey. Here on track A1. Some kind of punk attitude?
Who is or was Isobel Goudie who didn't do the things she should (track A4)?
    Wild bunch.......
