Steve Marriott wanted them to open for the headliner Humble Pie in USA 1972.
Accidentally they went into the studio as SNAPE.

Strong work. Weak cover art.
Fine irish folk influences.
The lyrics: BG had something to say.
Listen to the beautiful track A1 "A gospel song".
Prod: Rupert Hine

No musicians credits on cover.
Make up and hair credits are noted very prominently on back cover......
The credits for the furs go to minks, foxes and ozelots. Anybody knows better?

Finally found in a thriftstore in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Some scratches. After washing: still looks a little bit dirty, but sounds great.
Brass arrangements by Allen Toussaint.
Pete Kleinow, pedal steel
Richard Thompson, guitars
John Bundrick, organ, piano
Scratches belong to life.

Hey, we used to dance to this one in the late 70ies: track B1 "I love the nightlife": one of the best disco songs ever! A disco track for heart & soul.
But listen to (non disco) tracks B4 and B5: what a voice!!!! What magic moments. Great. Alicia Bridges.....
This simply is one of the best US disco productions of the 70ies.

This Lizzy is driven by the guitars of Scott Gorham, Mark Knopfler and Snowy White. Listen to superb guitar playing of Mark Knopfler on track A2 "King's call".
This Holland pressing is not of the best dynamics.
Lizzy was not very strong anymore. A little bit lame?
Because of Phil's nose?
