Big Bill Broonzy, Same, 1956, Philips Holland, B 08102 L

A man and his guitar sings his songs. There was nothing but the blues. Look at the pen in his shirt pocket on front cover picture.......
Wonderful booklet with extensive liner notes fixed to inside of fold cover with drawings of Emmering Weninger.
    Good Holland pressing. Philips Microgroove.
60 years old vinyl in good condition.
Music history of the 20th century.

Riff Raff, Vinyl Futures, 1981, Atlantic US, ATCO SD 32-108

Is there any future for vinyl LPs? There are many "Vinyl futures". Plural!
Listen to track A1 "Nina" and forget Led Zeppelin.
Then listen to track A2 "Shades of blue" and forget Boston.
Then listen to track A3 "Treat me right" and forget Scorpions and Ufo.
And the drums in Bonham style!
    And so on......
A forgotten gem because we have great guitars and vocals here!

Stan Getz, Groovin' High, 1957, Crown US, CLP 5002

    Oscar Moore guitar
    59 years old vinyl!!
Old US vinyl never gets destroyed if you take care of it. Unfortunately somebody used the side B as a dish.....Such is life? Nooooooo!
We all have a second side that's in better condition, isn't it......

Recorded in New York City, August 27 & 28, 1962
    Jim Hall, guitar
    Hank Jones, piano
    Produced by Creed Taylor
Good dynamics. Old US vinyl! 54 years. Those were the MONO times! Heavy vinyl. Perfect vinyl pressing work was standard then.
Fine for a hot summer evening after hard work with a cool beer.

Richard and Linda Thompson - First Light
(1978, Chrysalis) '84 reissue on Catharge, MASTERDISK TD in the deadwax, mastered by Tony Dawsey at Masterdisk, NY

Nice. Linda Thompson has one of those voices, she could sing the phone book and I love it. Richard Thompson is such a understated, great guitarist.

Great female backing vocals. How important in rock music!
