and now for something completely different............mccoy tyner..............supertrios
I listen to a lot of MP3's. Music from the 60's and 70's usually has noise/tape hiss, which is annoying.
Started playing around in Nero and found the "wave editor" . Its nice for chopping out or splicing in cuts from albumwraps.
It also has a noise reduction feature where you can play with the "gain floor". If you are careful with the settings, the older tunes can sound almost like the ones recorded today.
My only gold MFSL disk is Abraxas and I've really made a great sounding version with Nero.
Maybe a solution for those that like classic music on a limited budget.

Just been listening to (Jean Sibelius: Finlandia Opus 26) on Classic FM with late night Lisa she’s the babe with a sweet voice on the airwaves at night-time.
The first time I heard this classical piece was back in 1990 Die Hard 2 during the end credits it was moving sombre piece that placed my mind in a relaxed mood with up-moving string movements then dropping down to a mellow mood loving I just like hearing (Finlandia Opus 26) from time to time.
