I think I've only seen this Seeds record once before and it was hammered, the others turn up once in awhile but not this one.

Augie Meyers, Finally In Lights, 1979, Sonet US, SNTF 803

Let the sunshine in......This one brings light and colours into our cold, grey and rainy april weekend here in St. Gallen, Switzerland:
Sir Douglas Texas Tornado with "uncle" Mickey Moody, guitar and engineering. But it's a dynamically mediocre US pressing. Anybody owns a sufficient pressing?

Augie Meyers, August In New York, 1984, Sonet UK, SNTF 910

Goodtime music by Sir Douglas organist August Meyers. Recorded in New York with "Asleep at the wheel" and Jerry Jeff Walker's Lost Gonzo Band. Good dynamics.

    Santana, 3, 1971, CBS England, S 69015

Rich, full dynamics. Superb english pressing. Carlos Santana used to play a Gibson Les Paul in those years. So listen to the twin guitars of track A2 "No one to depend on" and listen loud. Test your equipment!

Bravo! This is a good US pressing. Did you notice, that the front and back cover photograpies were shot by Ringo Starr? It's an iconic LP cover art.

    Larry Coryell - Spaces
    (1970, Vanguard Apostolic) -1B/-1B

first release with Coryell on the cover. killer fusion with not-bad session players: John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Miroslav Vitous, Billy Cobham.

I think I knew that Ringo did the cover art, but had forgotten - great photo.

Nice Santana spin - might be my favorite

I have a big problem with this one: my wife.
Once in every year i put this LP on my turntable. Same procedure as every year: my wife asks me: what's this we are listening to? Is that music? And she shakes her pretty head.
She doesn't like this famous one. But she is right...... I don't like it too.
This is definitively not our piece of cake. So we will try again next year.....
