Let the sunshine in......This one brings light and colours into our cold, grey and rainy april weekend here in St. Gallen, Switzerland:
Sir Douglas Texas Tornado with "uncle" Mickey Moody, guitar and engineering. But it's a dynamically mediocre US pressing. Anybody owns a sufficient pressing?

Let more sunshine in.......Superb pressing from Holland. Flaco Jimenez accordion.

Goodtime music by Sir Douglas organist August Meyers. Recorded in New York with "Asleep at the wheel" and Jerry Jeff Walker's Lost Gonzo Band. Good dynamics.

Rich, full dynamics. Superb english pressing. Carlos Santana used to play a Gibson Les Paul in those years. So listen to the twin guitars of track A2 "No one to depend on" and listen loud. Test your equipment!

I have a big problem with this one: my wife.
Once in every year i put this LP on my turntable. Same procedure as every year: my wife asks me: what's this we are listening to? Is that music? And she shakes her pretty head.
She doesn't like this famous one. But she is right...... I don't like it too.
This is definitively not our piece of cake. So we will try again next year.....
