Here are the songs that i was missing on "Top Priority". 21 years old Rory Gallagher with the famous "much used" 1961 Fender Stratocaster. All through his career he played the same guitar! It didn't happen before, it wouldn't happen again: listen to RG's fine saxophone playing on the swinging track A3. Produced by Tony Colton. German reissue pressing with superb dynamics.

Live at Montreux Casino Switzerland 1970. That Casino burnt down soon after with much "Smoke on the water". Gallagher and Taste in full bloom. Feel so good! Good England pressing.

Neil Young - Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
(1969, Reprise) -1J/-1K
I've always assumed the cover photo was taken on Neil's Broken Arrow Ranch, anybody know? bonus picture of Buffalo Springfield in '67 outside Neil's Laurel Canyon cabin, photo by Dennis Hopper:

Carly Simon - No Secrets
(1972, Elektra) WLP
w/ Klaus Voorman - playing that rumbling bass at the start of You're So Vain. I think the only time we hear James Taylor on the record is during one of the final chorus of Waited So Long, when Carly sings "Daddy, I'm No Virgin" - we hear Taylor chime in - "She's No Virgin" ahem Happy Valentines Day.

Blues? Chicago? British jazz influenced blues rock in the style of "Colosseum". More jazz and progrock than blues. Still a superb mixture! Produced in June 1969 by Chris Thomas at AIR Studios in London. Very much (ab)used english pressing vinyl with many scratches. You nearly don't hear the scratches because of the quality old English vinyl. Listen to every track. No fillers. All killers. Arthur Wood: piano and keyboards are great! This vinyl sounds so fresh as new.....Is anybody interested in further works of Climax Blues Band?

McKendree Spring - Spring Suite
