I think I'll go for TSMR and some more RS SACDs first, but I'll not buy the whole set.

Yep - its a major theme I've heard used in the US on Classical music radio stations:

"If you had to be stranded on a desert island, pick your top 10 Desert Island Discs and tell us why for each one."

The "why" is really the interesting part ...

    Personal Spin Blog #712:

enjoyed TSMR so much the other night , that it got a return play.

(at night I hook the nano to Shure E2c's and it has a sleep timer, so works perfectly for
"in the rack, waiting to saw ZZZZ's" times.)

theres a lot of duplication between the us releases and the uk stuff but ill probably end up with them all anyway.the beatles were huge with me till i saw the stones and all those albums were present here if not mine then friends of mine.i did pick up all the bobby zimmerman sacds and hope that the other half of his catalog get the treatment too.blonde on blonde, highway 61,freewheelin,bringing it all back home and probably a few others would rank very high on any top desert isle list of mine.

I agree. My vehicle preference was stated, sorry if that was taken offensively.

The "Yahoo" part was completely unappreciated. Not sure why you took that in a way that would cause you to belittle someone. Last time I checked I did enter this thread through a JBL Site. So far the site has been helpful and everyone polite. No need to be an arse, I'll take my musical preferences elsewhere.

that comment was not directed at you nor was any offense taken by your post.theres been a bit of acrimony lately and you just walked in the middle of a gunfight and got your hat shot off.stick around a while.i think new orleans is underrepresented here anyhow.

exactly. I was unaware that Scubadude had even posted. He assumed that a comment about SD was about him. Never ASSUME.
