Mott The Hoople-"The Hoople"
Not their most popular LP but one of my favorites by Ian and company.....
Featuring Eddie Jobson on keyboards and electric violin (ex Roxy Music, ex U.K., etc.) Eddie's compositions on this LP are my all time favorites by Curved Air....
McDonald and Giles (self titled LP) 1971
Founding members of King Crimson Ian McDonald and Michael Giles phenomenal self titled album from 1971. Some beautiful melodic songs and great performances on this album. You can really hear their influence and what sound they contributed to King Crimson. Kind of like the more melodic elements of the Court of the Crimson King album minus Fripp's "sinister" sound....
U.K. "Night After Night" 1979 (live)
Great live album from U.K.'s 1979 "Danger Money" tour featuring John Wetton (ex King Crimson), Eddie Jobson, and phenomenal drummer Terry Bozzio. Nice song selection and powerful live performance. This was the second lineup for U.K. and a great one at that. Their first album featured Wetton and Jobson with Bill Bruford on drums and Allan Holdsworth on guitar....
