    David Bowie - Hunky Dory

I'd forgotten that Rick Wakeman plays on this title. I'm with you - I like some of Bowie's work including Space Oddity which I like a lot but it's kind of weird how this one stands out. It's like he was in a groove that he lost when he went into all the glam stuff and the 70's happened...

    John Lodge--Natural Avenue (1977 London/Decca)

I'm a long time fan of the Moody Blues and I also like most of their solo output. This is John Lodge's only solo album -- great songs easily as good as his contributions to Moody Blues LPs. Nice orchestration, arrangements and production as well.

    Edgar Winter - "White Trash/Entrance"

Edgar's first two albums reissue as a "two-fer" double LP. Classic Edgar before he made it big. His sound really evolved between his first album "Entrance" and his second "Edgar Winter's White Trash" but there's great stuff on both albums. Love the horns!
