a 50cent flea market find this morning, I thought it was another of the US copies that I see everywhere, but was happy to see it's a German pressing. This title was the first ECM record I heard, purchased new back in the early 70s, followed by Keith Jarrett's The Koln Concert record.

Nice selection! I've always considered this to be Ronnie's masterpiece--his best collection of songs and phenomenal performances IMHO. A very unique addition to his catalog as well...... Never would have guessed in the early 70's that Edgar Winter's "guitar slinger" had this much talent as an artist himself.....

I have a couple of those - I wish they had a bit more grit and funk, those 70s CTI records have their moments though.

a really interesting one man band outsider California psych record. I recognized the cover because I had seen it discussed before. a truly eccentric record performed without overdubs. a $1 clearance find at HPB today. :yikes:

I remembered my famous 17 different "Hey Joe's" CD from the Napster days
so was letting iTunes play whatever it wanted and it found 23 different
"I put a spell on you's" ....one was really nice (so far) ...a guy I'd never heard of ...Tab Benoit.
