The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
(1969, London)
I started putting together a playlist for a Christmas Eve dinner with family and my siblings' families. This year instead of using digital sources, I'm putting tracks from LPs onto the Akai Reel to Reel deck. It's a much more interesting collection of music for source. I'm mixing rock and pop tracks along with Christmas music - selection is semi-random by going through the unsorted shelved records. "You Got The Silver" from Let It Bleed made it on the tape.

Started off with a Vince Guaraldi motif today and later ran across this John Zorn CD - "Alhambra Love Songs"
amazingly beautiful trio performances, a love song to the musicians of San Francisco ...
Various songs are dedicated to various artists ...
Highly recommended!

Cult L.A. 60's garage band, predecessor to The Doors.
One of my alltime favorite 60's punk groups.
The leader & vocalist Sean Bonniwell has passed away yesterday.
