It's so simple & funny that it's Great. Cool Vox Continental sounds.
96 Tears is a garage rock anthem.
Classic song--sounds 48% better at 45 rpms! BTW, I may be selling all of my 60's and 70's 45 RPM records--PM me if interested......

And then there's Todd Rundgren's version of the song..... (titled "Tears" if you want to hear the audio sample)....

I picked this up at a flea market in Switzerland a few years ago, back when the USD exchange rate wasn't great but a lot better than it is now.

Maybe you're right, but I'll rather stick to my long players 33⅓. There's more songs on 'em & more fun for me
Todd Rundgren's version is great !

Anyways, I have some cool garage 45's reissues from SUNDAZED

That was my (lame) attempt at humor. To my ear, 33's sound at least as good as 45's.
Glad you liked the Todd link....

Sundazed is a great label! They have re-issued some phenomenal and often obscure titles and do a great job mastering/remastering--the sound quality on their releases is generally excellent. I (re) bought John Entwistle's first two albums on SUNDAZED a while back and the remastered sound quality is fantastic--the SUNDAZED remastered CD version blows away the sound quality of my (mint) LP version (which is a pleasant surprise for me--for a CD to sound better than the original vinyl version)...... Here's the description for "Whistle Rymes"

Pink Floyd week this week on Jimmy Fallon's show. NBC weeknights at 12:35 am. Every night this week a different band will perform a Pink Floyd cover to celebrate Pink Floyd releasing the remastered version of their entire musical catalog (studio albums only). Last night, Nick Mason was a guest on the show and the Shins did a cover of "Breathe" (not a bad rendition either---a better version than I thought the Shins would be able to pull off).... I'm more psyched about tonight's upcoming show--it will be the Foo Fighters doing a Pink Floyd cover with ROGER WATERS SITTING IN WITH THE FOO FIGHTERS!
Floyd fans--check out Fallon's show tonight and all week....

Yes, that's a good one - that entire record is GREAT. Psychedelic rock with country, folk and raga thrown in. Love the sitar and the blues rock vocals from Mariska Veres - described in the All Music review "like a gypsy incarnation of Grace Slick". Psychedelic rock with country, folk and raga thrown in. I have the 1969 US issue, the european release was titled "At Home" on Pink Elephant. It's definitely worth pursuing if there has been a Sundazed or other reissue.

There's a cool reissue on Dutch label Music On Vinyl with bonus trax.
Among these bonus is Harley Davidson one of my favorites too.

3 LP set album comes with cool cartoon inners. Good but bit over the top as there's too much reggae/dub. . Would be better as 2 LP set.

Yeah, but it sold dirt cheap when it first came out ...
The group fought their record company to keep the 3-LP set affordable to their fans, accepting lower royalty rates so the price would be as low as a single LP.

Hope this doesn't bore any non Pink Floyd fans out there -- but I had to post this--Roger doesn't usually do talk shows so this was a real treat for me. Here are some highlights from last night's Jimmy Fallon with Roger Waters (interview and Roger performing live with the Foo Fighters). I think even non-Pink Floyd fans will find this interesting if they check out these brief clips---great stuff!
