    Moby Grape - Live Grape
    (1978, Escape)

live performance from'77 '78 with core members Peter Lewis, Jerry Miller and Skip Spence. Well recorded, with nice songs from Miller and Lewis, including "Lost Horizon" which might be about the band. Also includes a Skip Spence composition, "Must Be Goin' Now Dear".

    Booker T. & The M.G.'s - Soul Limbo
One of a few groups that captivate the spirit & sound of 60's with their cool Hammond organs.
Brings some nostalgic feeling every time you hear them like Procol Harum's a "Whiter shade of pale". That's the Hammond's magic.
Think I saw you got "Hip Hug-Her" Lp One of my favourite is "Soul Dressing".
Gonna by a reissues on Sundazed

I'm of 2 minds on Clapton ..some times he's brilliant, others..he's schlocky

watching the PBS rebroadcast of the 1969 Johnny Cash variety show, Eric was not impressive,
and in fact his vocals with Traffic were kept low as they considered him a poor vocalist.

Was listening to Clapton Unplugged last night and feel its in his top 3 , along with Just One Night
    and 461 Ocean Blvd.

he has improved over the years...

"Try It" was banned because of lascivious lyrics . Ah, what an innocente time .
Produced by Ed Cobb, ingenious producer/arranger/writer, back then a manager of The Standells & The Chocolate Watchband. He wrote their 1st hit "Dirty Water" along with "There Is A Storm Comin'", "Why Pick on Me", "Sometimes Good Guys Don't Wear White", "Barracuda" etc.
Great punchy sound. "Riot On The Sunset Strip" is a 60's punk classic

Awesome !!! You saw them at their beginnings. I saw 'em a few years ago and it was one the best shows I ever saw. It was so cool that I felt like James Bond

    Love - Da Capo
    (1967, Elektra)

with all 18:57 of "Revelation" on side 2, originally titled "John Lee Hooker"; It's a long and meandering showcase for the band including the inevitable drum solo, but with great playing and singing.
