Fairport Convention - Fairport Chronicles
(1972, A&M)
2 LP compilation of Fairport Convention's early catalog with extensive liner notes on the records and the band's history from Jim Bickhart and Sam Sutherland. The second song, from Unhalfbricking (which I don't have), is Sandy Denny's beautiful "Who Knows Where The Time Goes". Another quality record that I've found in the HPB clearance shelf this month - these always leave me wondering wtf is this record doing in clearance, not complaining though.

Bruce's 1st solo album includes guitar performance credited to L'Angelo Misterioso on the first track - I figured that's either Clapton or Harrison, it's George. Sax and trombones including playing from Dick Heckstall-Smith from Colosseum. a $3 pickup today, cleaned up nicely, great record~!
