Haaa, so wait a minute, you guys actually like music too..........

Lots of great recommendations here, my tastes are wide and open from the classic to the electronica...

    Try this:
Morphine, they do a JBL justice.

"Yes" or "Cure for Pain" first, then the rest. I own em all

great gear is like a limo to the event.for some a ferarri or porche, others a,bentley, but the event is the thing.some guys like to drive em and some like to build or tinker, and there are even those who collect.

Its nice to see someone else enjoying the music and unconcerned about the initials on his gear. Despite that other yahoo, keep on posting. They are read.

Hey! Good to see you back!

I'm staying in the friendly areas - the off topic stuff can burn on without me!

(I'm expecting my HK-refurb receiver to arrive late Monday - can't do preamp out with my loyal JVC receiver ...)

Thanx HJ, but I'm not back to SHF. Just contributing some moral support to a friend after an unprovoked attack on him. At least the mods closed off that mess quickly.

Saw him at "An Evening of ECM music" at the Kennedy Center (Wash, DC) circa late 70s ... him and Eberhard Weber and a number of other folks - tho Pat Metheney had already left the "New Quartet" Very neat show.

The video is pretty cool - from 81 - not much later than when I saw him -
I saw it listed on Amazon a few weeks ago and thought it'd be a fun disc. NTSC on one side, PAL on the other - both regionless.
