Not a fan of colored vinyl, but you take what's you can get.

The condition of colored vinyl is difficult to be controlled optically in store. Black vinyl can't bluff you.

Frankie Miller, Double Trouble, 1978, Chrysalis Germany, 6307 625

Great Scottish voice. Weak songs. Supply of convenient song material is the main job of a producer. Weak job done by Jack Douglas! What about the cover art?

Frankie Miller, Full House, 1977, Chrysalis England, CHR 1128

Great Scottish voice. Fine songs. So it's a good production job by Chris Thomas. Listen to Miller/Trower song B3 "This love of mine"! Powerful backing by the Memphis Horns.
It's the singer AND the song......

Frankie Miller, Dancing In The Rain, 1986, Mercury Germany, 826 647

This is the best one of Frankie Miller IMHO. Because here we have the powerful drumming by Simon Kirke (Free, Bad Company). Listen to the dynamics of the drum intro on A1 "I'd lie to you for your love". And thereafter the guitar solo played by Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy) is still unforgettable. One for the island?

Buddy Merrill, The Guitar Sounds, 1965, Vogue Germany, LDVS 17086

Superb dynamics. Mishandled cover. But the vinyl is in good condition, because nobody knew the guitar player......
So let's listen to "Fascinating Rhythm" A4.
