Clifford Brown/Max Roach, Pure Genius, 1982, Elektra Musician Germany, MUS K 52 388

These tracks were previously unreleased performances from the private collection of Mrs. Clifford Brown. They were privately recorded in 1956 and they presented challenging technical problems.
Attention! The dynamics are by far not satisfying. Some kind of a "boot leg" product. But for musically historic purpose it's OK.

Dick Morrissey, sax&flute. Terry Smith, guitars. Superb French original pressing. Sounds great though it's a mistreated LP.

Eric Gale, Ginseng Woman, 1977, Columbia USA, 34421

A little bit too much sugarcoating with strings&horns by Bob James. Typical of the late 70ies. But overall its good STUFF. Listen to the beautiful "Red Ground" A2.
