Once.. it happened with Jeferson Starship "Modern Times" of all things......go figure.:dont-know
JBL Power Bass PB12
hmmmmm.........i think id pay to get that one removed.i was a huge fan of the airplane and still havent recovered from their meltdown.i still like their version of wooden ships better than csn............i gotta go put that on
Actualy..that's how i felt untill I saw them live in Frisco 1982 Nam Vets mem bennefit..Airplane/Starship, along with Grateful Dead, Country Joe &fish, and a bunch other SF heavies.. sitting in.
I went out and bought their latest tape which was "Modern times", bescause I was impressed with their performance.
side note: When Boz Scaggs was sitting in with the Dead for a few numbers..they did Butterfields "Got a mind To Give Up Living" Boz took the first solo, great solo!. then garcia!! holy siht!! ...that's when I realized just how good he was. Said to be.... a "Leader that refused to lead" ...ol jerry wasn't laking a competitive streak. funny guy.
oh thats right ...this is starting to sound like BS.
uh ..uh..Steferplane Jeffson...that's right...uhmm ...yeah..uh, they were real good ...dispite all the phase dist at the Moscone center..

got the first one and the dvd.............i guess ill just add it to the list.........sigh.i looked up bella vista and it looks mighty close to the roller coaster ride we used to take thru the ozarks on the way to la or ms.in my neighborhood the bella vista is a little club with live music every now and then
astral weeks...............the belfast cowboy............
That'd be the one, but new roads have pushed the beginning of the ride to the Arkansas River (unless you know the back way). Just a little farther East (13 or 65), and it starts at the Missouri River. Grab some cool ones at the Lake of the Ozarks, and whooooeeee, it's downhill from there, boy, clean to NOLA!
(except for a few places where it's straight up...)
This one started as a little club with live music back in the '20s, but bears no resemblance now.
Good trigger!
Been meaning to listen to St Dominic's Preview all week!
I'll put on a tall stack of the Van man and let it play ...
I may even get to No Guru, No method, No Teacher later tonight
while I reconnect the Zilch-gear ...
IF I don't get into a tall stack of old van boots from ... I dare not say ...
Thanks!
