made a big loop on the TREK yesterday (ready to switch over to the Fuji for summer riding) ...and found these 2 ..funny that they seem to be from people that were famous at their prior bands...
Edge from Moody Blues....Fogerty from CCR.

Ev'rybody wants it to stop.

The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown - Self Titled
(1968, Track)
inspired by a discussion on why did psychedelic rock develop so fast? My take from wikipedia - "When viewed under the influence of such substances as LSD, psychedelic mushrooms, and peyote, a clock may appear to be a strange reference point and a useless tool for measuring the passage of events as it does not correlate with the user's experience. At higher doses, time may appear to slow down, stop, speed up, go backwards and even seem out of sequence."
Record Store Day
I think it's cool that there are lots of small, independent record stores doing ok and bucking the trend. I don't hit the stores very often, but I'll probably hit a few Seattle stores this afternoon with my son. Happy record store day, and good luck with the crate digging!

T Rex is a guilty pleasure. A glam rock group, yet what a sound, and Electric Warrior is, I think, a pop-art masterpiece. I often listen to it on my way to work or on my way home--not so much at home though--my wife claims it makes her skin crawl. Oh well.
Wishbone Ash - There's The Rub
(1974, MCA) KENDUN in the deadwax - mastering by Kent Duncan
Well produced, nice playing with that Wishbone Ash wall-of-guitars sound. a sidewalk sale grab at record store day.
Record Store Day on Saturday
I hit a couple of Seattle stores (Sonic Boom and Jive Time records) this afternoon. I didn't see any signs of the RS day exclusives by that point, but I did have some fun w/ crate digging the sidewalk sales with my son (found a baker's dozen @ 75 cents), checking out the lively crowded stores. We snagged some free pizza and heard some live music.
