I heard a track from a new Rory Block album on a weekend Blues program on a local FM station and wanted to hear this one from early in her career.

    Trivia
    ElmoreMagazine.com | February 19th, 2012 by Elmore Magazine

In February, 1949, RCA Victor introduced the 45 RPM record. To distinguish between styles, these were color-coded, each using a different color plastic. Rhythm & blues records were cherry red, pop records were black, classical came in red, with blue, yellow, and green for other styles of music. The first set of 45s was sent in a group of seven, each representing one style of music.

Dennis Wilson - Pacific Ocean Blue
    (1977, Caribou)

A $6 pickup at HPB this week. The previous owner liked to write his name on record covers and tossed out the original inner sleeves/inserts. otherwise the LP and others that I saw are in very good shape, were stored in a Diskeeper inner sleeve --> which I replace with a new anti-static inner sleeve after a clean/rinse cycle on VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine.
