I got a UK copy of the "Pulse" DVD last year, when folks were talking about it here, before it was available at Best Buy, etc. Its ok - but I didn't think the audio or video was that great - a kind of a vintage DVD sound (it IS a 12 year old recording). I greatly prefer the Cream 2005 Reunion DVD or The Concert for George (Harrison). I thought both of those shows were much better sounding shows, and both feature really grand playing by Clapton.

For a completely different kind of sound - The Goldfrapp live DVD (2004) is pretty good too, or track down the 2 disc version of Supernature, the latest Goldfrapp CD which comes with a bonus DVD of live and studio videos.

    Vince Gill, "These Days"

Magnet3 treated us to VinnyG in concert at the Las Vegas Hilton.

    4th row, center, main floor.

It was spectacular musicianship and singing at it's finest.

Eric Clapton's Slowhand, and Derek & the Dominos Laya SACDs are superb, especially as heard thru PT800s/sub1500s.

    OMG!

I have Eric Clapton Slowhand and I was just listening to it last night. I always put on something to fall asleep to and that was the one!

I love Eric Clapton - lovely voice and genious on the guitar.

    Slow Hand--ya, that's a good one.

Right now I'm listening to the Ampzilla 2000 SACD reissue of Ben Webster, My Romance. I think I got it from Acoustic Sounds a while back.
