I've never seen this compilation before--several non LP tracks--thanks for sharing. I'm gonna have to order it--looks like there's a hole in my Moody Blues collection that I never knew about!

Great album! I missed this tour--first time I saw them was in 1974 -- Relayer tour with Pat Moraz. It was one of the first concerts I ever saw and was a killer show that blew me away... I really enjoy the Yessongs movie also--an incredible performance and a must on DVD if you've never seen it. Filmed at London's Rainbow Theatre in December 1972 and has pretty much the same songs as the album. Here's the link..... http://www.amazon.com/Yes-Yessongs-S...5706576&sr=1-1

an old favorite. The transition from Opening (excerpt from "Firebird Suite") to Siberian Khatru on Volume I/Side 1 still raises the hair on the back of the neck. I'd go back to see a show from that 1972 tour if I could time-travel.

rode out to the flea mkt today and returned with these 3 ....the Charlie Byrd is a 12in. 45rpm "direct to disk" ..it's like "never played" condition. looked up the title and found this on a forum

"Leaving aside any questions regarding performance, musical choices etc. What is/are the best sounding LPs you have ever heard ?

FWIW let's vote on the best sounding LP ever!

    Two candidates from my collection:

Charlie Byrd Charlie Byrd (Crystal Clear Records CCS 8002)
Bruce Coburn Dancing in The Dragon's Jaws (True North tn37)"
