Amazing Blondel, England, 1972, Island England, ILPS 9205

A quiet bucolic one. An acoustic island in these stormy times.

Does anybody else see Ray Manzarek and Jim Morrison literally spin in their graves due to these Rape Riders?

    Best regards!

The Inmates, Meet The Beatles Live in Paris, 1987, Mute Sonet France, 70547

The "Rolling Beatles" are here. What would happen, if the Beatles were writing the song material and The Rolling Stones were performing it? The Inmates play like there's no tomorrow. Rotzfrech!

Please forgive me. I live in the UK and tried so many domestically designed options with a huge level of advice from those on this forum and others.

I then managed to find a pair of Greg's finest works IMO - the 9800's.

A couple of years after I got them I suffered a brain injury.

The k29800 Keep me alive. That is no exaggeration. They make me Cry, The they make me laugh. As music should.

They are special and if it wasn't for this place I would have understood how special or bought them.

So thanks to all of you - from the UK. And thanks to Greg.

    Always been a ....

    .
60's/70's Stones, Iron Butterfly, Doors type of guy, but last couple of years
started appreciating Patsy. Picked this LP up the other day .... sure, it's not
going to be a daily listener , but is a nice change of pace.

Tom, I enjoy Patsy's popular tunes, too. Some of her tunes are in my favorites playlist.

(This is the only vinyl LP of Patsy Cline i own). These tracks were recorded by Owen Bradley at Bradley's Barn in 1960/61, sugarcoated by an overdose (?) of violins. Reggie Young, guitars.
On March 5, 1963, after a benefit concert in Kansas City, Patsy Cline (born 1932) flew back to Nashville along with Opry Stars Cowboy Copus & Hawkshaw Hawkins and mananger/pilot Randy Hughes. They never made it home...

OST, Sweet Dreams, 1985, MCA USA, 6149

Jessica Lange is Patsy Cline. Original motion picture soundtrack about the life and times of Patsy Cline. "Featuring the timeless music and original vocals of the legendary Patsy Cline." Inner sleeve with musicians and recording credits. Listen to Willie Nelsons "Crazy", which was recorded August 21, 1961 at Bradley Studio, Nashville. No sugarcoating violins (with the exception of "Sweet dreams" B6). Floyd Cramer, piano.

yes, Fritz .... I enjoyed that movie also. Saw Jessica recently in an interview, still an attractive Lady. I'm 11 days older, but she is better preserved.
